Adding and Editing Numbers for Multi-factor Authentication

You can now add, delete, or edit phone numbers for 2-Step Verification.

To add, delete, or edit phone numbers in the CCH Axcess Dashboard, do the following:

  1. Make sure that you are logged into the Dashboard.

  2. Click Axcess Dashboard, then click Application Links.

  3. Click User Options.

  1. A new link will appear under "Change security questions and answers". It will say "2-Step Verification phone numbers". Click the link to open the utility.

  1. Click Add or Delete to add, delete, or edit your phone numbers.

Notes:

  • To add, delete, or edit a phone number, you must verify the phone number through One-Time Password (OTP).

  • If there is only one number added, it cannot be removed without adding a new number.

  • While displaying phone numbers to users, the utility will display numbers added by users and numbers that are already available in the staff profile.

  • Other users cannot edit or access these phone numbers.

  • All of the added numbers will be listed for Multi-Factor Authentication. You can select the number that the OTP will be sent to.
